Welcome to the African Studies Program of the University of Pittsburgh. Since its establishment in 2001, the African Studies Program has devoted to becoming a leading program for the interdisciplinary study of Africa at the University of Pittsburgh and surrounding areas. We strive through our research, teaching, and outreach activities to promote greater understanding and appreciation of the continent and its people, for our students, faculty and the greater Pittsburgœh community. |
