NAFSA: Association for International Educators

  • Promotes all aspects of exchange of students and scholars to and from the United States. It also upholds standards of good practice and provides professional education and training that strengthen institutional programs and services related to international educational exchange.

NAFSA Section on US Students Abroad (SECUSSA)

  • The focus of SECUSSA is on U.S. students abroad and developing workshops and sessions for national and regional NAFSA Conferences, assessing the need for publications that will assist SECUSSANs in their work and coordinating with NAFSA to facilitate such publications, maintaining SECUSS-L: an electronic means of information sharing , working with colleagues in NAFSA and other professional organizations to ensure that issues facing SECUSSAns are addressed in the broadest manner possible, coordinating programs that will assist in the professional development of SECUSSAns.
