The Asian Studies Center at the University of Pittsburgh welcomes your participation in the 3rd Annual Pittsburgh Asia Consortium (PAC) Undergraduate Asian Studies Conference. The conference will be held on Saturday, February 21st, 2015, on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The conference is interdisciplinary and we welcome paper proposals from a range of disciplines and across the broad geographic expanse of Asia. The conference will begin with registration at 8:00 am in the Cathedral of Learning, followed by two panel sessions, a lunch featuring guest speaker Dr. Michael Meyer, author of The Last Days of Old Beijing: Life in the Vanishing Backstreets of a City Transformed and assistant professor in the Department of English at the University of Pittsburgh, and one or two afternoon panel sessions.
