The CLS Program is part of a U.S. government interagency effort to expand dramatically the number of Americans studying and mastering critical need foreign languages. All candidates must have completed at least their first year of university-level study by the summer of 2010. Undergraduate or graduate students may apply. Applicants must be U.S. citizens.
