Hewlett International Grant Program

[Administered by UCIS]

The Hewlett International Grant Program is intended to help University faculty in the development or completion of international projects requiring a somewhat larger effort than available through the Small Grant Program. "International" is defined as relating to another country or culture, comparative analysis covering more than one country or culture, studies of international relations or of transnational activities, or studies which examine topics related to global issues. Full-time and part time tenure-stream, tenured and non tenure-stream faculty (including lecturers and contract faculty) at the University of Pittsburgh from all Schools and Departments, Centers, Institutes and Campuses are eligible to submit a proposal. Adjunct, visiting and emeritus faculty are not eligible.
