Panoramas is a space to foster academic discussion about Latin America. This innovative project is a perfect place for students to develop their technical skills and publish their work in an academic forum. The Panoramas project is hosted by the Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS). 

Responsibilities

The Panoramas Interns will assist Luis Bravo, webmaster for CLAS and Panoramas, with recording events, helping in the administration of CLAS social media, and other web and social media related activities.  Interns will also be asked to write articles for Panoramas and work on special projects. Work hours will vary depending on the university schedule (work load will be about 10 hours a week).  Note that interns may be asked to work on an occasional Saturday.

Requirements:

  • ability to work independently
  • strong writing skills
  • ability to work with computers and Photographic /AV equipment
  • familiarity with social media (Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, You Tube, etc)
