MWI is looking for an intern with Russian language skills to assist with program development, implementation, and management for international women’s health programs focused in the Central Asian region, Russia and Ukraine as well as coordinating professional programs for international delegations visiting Pittsburgh.

Duties
The internship involves helping program staff and clients by providing Russian language interpretation services. Interacting with the clients directly and using the language on a regular basis in a real-world setting is an excellent opportunity to improve your Russian skills.

Bulgarian Macedonian National Educational and Cultural Center (BMNECC)
The BMNECC is America's national center for the preservation and presentation of Bulgarian culture and art. Since its origins in 1930 the organization has been dedicated to education, community service, multi-cultural cooperation, and promotion of the arts. Its Otets Paissii Folk Ensemble performs regularly at venues in the Pittsburgh region and beyond. The Center offers members' programs in language, dance and music for children and adults and provides customized seminars for visiting groups, such as teachers, musicians, students, senior citizens and government leaders. The facility houses the largest collection of Bulgarian art, audio recordings, film, video, costumes, jewelry, textiles, books, artifacts and archives in the United States. The BMNECC is a 501(c)3 organization that is supported by government agencies, businesses, private foundations, individuals, and also from earned income.
Duties:
Interns would be responsible for:
Translating archival and historic materials
Organizing and cataloging artwork, photographs, documents and other archives
Proficiency with digital technology (e.g., scanners) and Mac computers if highly recommended.
