Socialism: Past, Present, Future

Socialism: Past, Present, Future
Recent opinion polls show that the public has an increasingly favorable view of "socialism." Is "socialism" back, even if what exactly socialism is remains a matter of debate? This series will explore forms of "really existing socialism," grassroots socialist and communist movements, socialist-inspired economic development and state-building, and contemporary experiences and visions of a socialist future from a global perspective.

Pop-Up Course: Undergraduate, continuing education, and non-matriculated students interested in getting credit for participation can enroll in PS 1556 | CRN 324476 | 1 credit.
