Workshop

February 21-22, 2014
Pittsburgh Athletic Association, Patrican Crown Mural Room
9:00 am

Globalization and transnationalism constitute forces that are as much cultural as economic and political.  Moreover, their combined impact affects people and countries differentially.  Regions and areas have distinct profiles that are affected by movement toward union, such as the European Union.  This conference will explore the dynamics of cultural unification in the EU area from a variety of perspectives.
