Student International Relations Society

 

The Student International Relations Society, an undergraduate student led organization, is dedicated to all aspects of foreign affairs and internatonal relations.  2011-2012 marks the second year for the society and is open to all students interested in foreign affairs and international relations.

Thursday, December 1st @ 6:00 - A roundtable discussion on the Greek debt crises and the EU's response will be held in Posvar 4625. Featured instructors include Dr. James Malloy from Pitt's Economics Department, and Dr. Despina Alexiadou from Pitt's Political Science Dept.

Past Events:

Wednesday, October 5th @ 6:00 - A panel discussion on the Arab Spring will take place in 4130 Posvar Hall. Featured instructors include Mohammed Bamyeh of Pitt's Sociology Department, Fatma El-Hamidi of Pitt's Economics Department, and Laurie Zittrain Eisenberg of CMU's History Department. Pizza will be served and OCC credit will be offered.

Monday, October 3rd @ 8:30 - A screening of Dr. Strangelove will take place in Posvar 5400.
