Faculty Funding Opportunities

Augsburg Research Scholar Exchange

The Augsburg Research Scholar Exchange facilitates collaboration in research and teaching between the University of Pittsburgh and the Universität Augsburg.  Full-time regular faculty, graduate students and administrators from any school or department at the University of Pittsburgh are eligible to submit an application to participate in the Research Scholar exchange.

Application Procecedure

Applicants are required to contact a faculty member or administrator at Augsburg to receive their support of the proposed collaborative project.

Information on programs, resources, and faculty contacts in Augsburg are available through the European Studies Center. 

The following must be submitted by the deadline:

	Augsburg Research Scholar Exchange Applicant Form
	Click here to download the Application Form
	A one to two page proposal that is a description of the project with the names of faculty members at Augsburg who will be involved with the project, the duration of the project, and likely outcomes of the project.
	A separate one page detailed estimated budget.
	A letter of support from the Augsburg faculty member or administrator (electronic or e-mail version acceptable).
	A current CV

Allowable expenses

The proposed budget may include meals, housing, and airfare allowances for visiting Research Scholars.
