Post Secondary Outreach Activities
The European Studies Center and the European Union Center of Excellence (ESC/EUCE) regularly conduct outreach activities for post-secondary students and faculty within the University of Pittsburgh and institutions across the United States and abroad.
EUCE/ESC sponsors various events for undergraduate and graduate students including Model European Union and Model NATO simulations, undergraduate and graduate research symposiums, the “Coffee and Culture” and “Pizza and Politics” monthly lecture series and numerous lectures and roundtables featuring visiting academics and practitioners.
EUCE/ESC organizes numerous European or EU-related activities for Pitt and regional faculty including panel series and lectures by international faculty and faculty development seminars focused on increasing instructors’ knowledge about EU-related issues and ways to incorporate the EU into classroom curriculum. To support and promote EUCE/ESC activities, the Center works closely with their Faculty Advisory Board and Regional Advisory Board.
Below is more information on a sampling of EUCE/ESC post-secondary outreach activities. For upcoming events, please visit the EUCE/ESC calendar.
