India Day is the celebration of Indian independence. India got independence from imperial colonialism 15 August, 1947 by mostly using the means nonviolence. it is pride for India Room committee and Asian Studies Center to organize the India Day festival together. Come! participate in celebrations, and learn with us more about Indian music, dance and food. This event is followed by exiting free kite-flying as a symbol of freedom.
