No NISGUA's Guatemala Accompaniment Project creates non-violent response to the threats, harassment, and violence faced by the survivors of Guatemala's 36-yearlong civil war and by grassroots organizations working for justice and human rights. Volunteers live alongside threatened individuals and communities in an effort to deter human rights violations. Volunteers commit to a minimum of six months of service and are at least 21 years old.
