The Indo-Pacific Council (INPAC) at the University of Pittsburgh

Indo-Pacific Studies at the University of Pittsburgh is an integral part of the teaching and research agenda of the University. The Indo-Pacific Council (INPAC) is at the core of the IP Studies program at the University.
It promotes the scholarly activities of all faculty members who are engaged or interested in the region, enhances teaching and research on the IP throughout the University, provides a solid basis of scholarly commitment and directions in IP Studies at the University, and furthers the goals of the University Center for International Studies, especially in UCIS's Asian Studies Center (ASC) and Global Studies Program.
Even in activities other than research and teaching, such as fundraising, the council members serve as a crucial link, not only because they are strongly committed to the study of the region and thus can lend expertise to matters affecting it, but also because they enjoy the deep and enduring trust of a wide range of people and corporations in the Indo-Pacific region.
