2013-14 NCTA Seminar at Georgetown University

" Asia Days 2014"

Georgetown University is proud to be partnering with the National Consortium for Teaching about Asia (NCTA) to bring exciting new professional development opportunities to MD-DC-VA K-14 teachers, who are interested in expanding their knowledge on Asian history, culture, art, and current events. This seminar, "Asia Days 2014," has been specifically tailored to cover many of the East Asia topics in the MD-DC-VA middle and high school state curricula/standards of learning (SOLs). Bring your lessons on Asia alive for your students by enriching your understanding and appreciation for the region through this new professional development seminar.

This seminar is being co-sponsored by the NCTA coordinating sites at the University of Pittsburgh and the Program for Teaching East Asia at the University of Colorado.
