"East Asia: A Seminar for Teachers"

In Fall of 2016, Mary Rice will lead the seminar: "East Asia: A Seminar for Teachers" at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA.


This FREE content-rich seminar is for public and private school teachers of grades K-12 as well as school librarians who are able to include East Asia into their teaching. The 36-hour seminar will explore the geography, history, economics, politics, philosophy, art, literature, languages, and cultures of China, Japan, and Korea. It will include engaging lectures by Lehigh University faculty, as well as time for group discussion of teaching materials and strategies for classroom teaching.
