2009 NCTA Study Tour to China
Migration and Identity: A Study Tour of China and Vietnam
The Asian Studies Center (ASC) at the University of Pittsburgh will conduct a Study Tour to China and North Vietnam for alumni of the National Consortium for Teaching about Asia (NCTA) between June 21/22-July 11 (tentative), 2009. This program includes the following components in addition to the time spent in China: orientation, follow-up, classroom implementation and dissemination. NCTA alumni of the Pittsburgh region’s NCTA sites (Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia) who have completed all NCTA requirements by February 1, 2009 are eligible to apply. The program is supported by a grant from The Freeman Foundation.
