The soprano, Radka Konforti, was born 1 December 1922 in Lovech. At the Academy of Music in Sofia she was a student of Christo Brambarov.
Her debut was on January 10, 1951 with the Sofia Opera as the Countess Ceprano in Rigoletto. She continued there in many of the leading soprano roles. Her international appearances took her to Prague, Warsaw, USSR in 1952, China in 1950, Belgrade in 1959 and as Aida at the Bolshoi and Leningrad Opera houses in 1957.
Major roles in her career included Aida, Tosca, Turandot, Leonore in Trovatore and as Tzveta in the Bulgarian opera by that name. Radka Konforti died on July 10, 1964.
