The Pennsylvania Governor's School for International Studies has officially been cancelled due to budgetary constraints.

Alumni: Until further notice, you can still use the links on this Web site to request letters of recommendation and/or to access our privately-funded Friends of PGSIS online community.

On a personal note, it has been our privilege to work with and learn from the 2,105 alumni who have participated in this program since its inception in 1984. We have also had more than 400 members of our faculty and staff touch the lives of our students during 25 continuous sessions of PGSIS, and for that, we are grateful. The PGSIS staff and faculty are heartbroken to realize that the 2009 class will not have the opportunity to experience such a world-class education and life-changing event.
