The archive of the scientific journal "Studia Slavica et Balcanica Petropolitana.This scientific journal is aimed to publish research papers, review papers, case studies, conference reports devoted to Slavic studies. It is published on the base of the Department of the history of Slavic and Balkan states of the Faculty of History of the Saint-Petersburg State University (Russia).

The Quebec Network for Slavic Studies (QNSS) aims to facilitate intellectual exchange between scholars based at Quebec universities in any discipline whose research touches upon the area of Slavic studies. Site is in French and English.

From the Biblioteka Narodowa (National Library of Poland), the site provides access to the digital collections of the Library, including the most important editions of literature and scientific materials, historical documents, journals, graphics, photography, score and maps. The site is in Polish and English, although the digitized collections are chiefly in Polish.

"A Poet on the Frontline" is a documentary film on Ryszard Kapuscinski, the famous daredevil war correspondent and one of the world’s most important contemporary literary figures. Known as “Indiana Jones with a notepad,” Kapuscinski is a legend among his peers who has been looking for the truths of human experience in the most dangerous places. In this film, independent filmmaker Gabrielle Pfeiffer explores the challenges of the writer in the face of censorship, and examines the lines between journalism and literature. She considers Kapuscinski’s distinction between recording the hard facts of a wartime event, and reaching deeper for the essence of human experience. This is a bibliographical database of books, pamphlets, journal articles and other works in the Hispanic languages, regarding societies and cultures of Central and Eastern Europe, created by Albert Lázaro-Tinaut. Included are citations for works of Eastern European authors that have been translated into Hispanic languages (Spanish, Catalan, Galician and Basque) and also some in other languages. Currently there are more than 20,000 entries awaiting to be introduced, covering most Eastern European languages, including: Albanian, Czech, Hungarian, Romanian, Russian, etc. One can browse by language of original publication, language of the translation, or by author to retrieve bibliographic citations. Important: the translators are especially brought forward.
