I just submitted a link. Where is it?

Submitting a link to REESWeb does not automatically include it in the annotated browsing list or full-text searching sections. All submissions are checked by the REESWeb editors to verify accuracy of the annotation and to properly categorize entries.

What is the difference between an Announcement and a Calendar Event?

Within the scope of REESWeb, an Announcement is a fairly general statement to bring the public's attention to a future event or deadline; a Calendar Event registers the particular information concerning when and where an event will take place. In some cases, it may be prudent to submit both an announcement and an event. For example, conference organizers probably want to list when and where their conference will take place (by submitting an event), but they often will want to alert the public well in advance, particularly if there is a call for papers (by submitting an announcement).
