Central Asian Studies World Wide: Resources for the Study of Central Asia is sponsored by the Harvard Forum for Central Asian Studies. The goal of the site is to provide "information which is useful to both beginners and experts; encompassing all fields of the social sciences and humanities wherever in the world people engage in such study." Types of information include an experts' directory, a list of dissertations on Central Asian topics, programs of instruction, journals in the field, links to discussion lists, etc. In English.
SOTA is a Netherlands-based research centre for Turkestan and Azerbaijan. Its Web page has links related to pages of Turkish peoples and communities, e.g., Turkey, Azerbaijan, Chechnia, Tajikistan, etc. There are also links to history and culture of Turkish peoples. Also included are some articles from BITIG, a quarterly journal dedicated to Turkish issues.
