The European Centre for Minority Issues aims to promote interdisciplinary research on various dimensions of minority-majority relations in a European perspective and to contribute to the improvement of inter-ethnic relations in those parts of Western and Eastern Europe where ethnopolitical tension and conflict prevail. A calendar of activities and events is posted online and a number of the Centre's publications, including the "Journal on Ethnopolitics and Minority Issues in Europe" (JEMIE), are also available in electronic format from the website.
