ESC and REES hosted a dinner for the students, judges, and sponsoring faculty members. The event included a keynote address by Dr. William Brustein, Director of the University Center for International Studies, University of Pittsburgh.

The closing reception and ceremony was open to the public. The ceremony began at 3:45. Dr. Robert Hayden, Director, Center for Russian & East European Studies, began the ceremony with his remarks and presented the awards.
