James Campbell

2023-2024 Panoramas Coordinator

James joins CLAS from Greenville, South Carolina where he recently earned his M.Ed. in Literacy at Clemson University while completing his fifteenth year in teaching. As a high school Spanish teacher, James worked to develop a heritage language learner program to promote and elevate students’ biliteracy. In a school-community partnership with Hispanic Alliance of Greenville, James also facilitated the Student DREAMers Alliance, a leadership acceleration program that now extends to three South Carolina high schools. James is a first-year PhD student in Language, Literacy, and Culture in the School of Education and serves as the Graduate Panoramas Coordinator.
