Chinese Heritage Room Committee of the Chinese Nationality Room was established in 1939. It has since served as a hub for promoting Chinese scholarship and culture at the University of Pittsburgh and the surrounding communities. At this event, the Chinese Heritage Committee will present the history of the early Pittsburgh Chinatown and the contribution of the Chinese immigrants to the Southwest Pennsylvania.
