The World History Center will host Julia Adeney Thomas (University of Norte Dame) on Friday, December 6 for a workshop "Humanists Working with Scientists: An Interdisciplinary or Multidisciplinary Anthropocene?" and talk “Frameworks for History’s Future: Climate Change and the Anthropocene.” RSVP HERE! Julia Adeney Thomas is professor of history at the University of Notre Dame. Her primary areas of research are the intellectual history of Japan, photography as a political practice, and the challenge of the Anthropocene concept to theories of history.
