Brain Candy Podcast is sugar rush for your intellectual side, and host Susie Meister joins International Week for the third year to muse about her experiences on reality television, travel abroad, and everything in-between. Though perhaps best known for her reality TV show stardom, Pitt alum Susie Meister is well-versed in the global and social issues surrounding displacement. She has felt this first hand while participating on the MTV television show Road Rules and the Challenge, where she was filmed outside her comfort zone experiencing people, places, and adventures she never would have otherwise. She completed her PhD in Religious Studies at Pitt in 2014, and now works as the co-owner of WAVE Podcast Network. Her guest co-host for this live taping is Pittsburgh icon, Sally Wiggin, who was the long-time WTAE news co-anchor. They will welcome Bill Isler, President of the Fred Rogers, Co. from 1987-2016, longtime educator, and advocate for children. They will be talking about the ways we can all celebrate the differences of people around the world and in our own neighborhoods.
