Anthropologist, professor, and researcher in the Graduate Program in Social Sciences at the Federal University of Maranhão (Brazil). Holds a Ph.D. in Social Anthropology from the University of Brasília and completed postdoctoral studies at the National Museum, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Her research interests include the anthropology of the house and Afro-Brazilian religions.
