In the Chosun Dynasty, the undisciplined Jeon Woo Chi's only concern is to become known as a powerful sorcerer. Woo Chi's world collapses around him though when his master is murdered by a powerful goblin that is after a magical flute that will set all goblins free. Jeon Woo Chi is framed for the murder and three Taoists gods magically seal him inside a scroll as punishment. Fast-forward to modern day Korea, where the released goblins begin to rampage! The gods have no choice but to set the wizard free in order to end the trouble, not realizing that all Jeon Woo Chi wants is to enjoy the women and sights of Seoul now that he's back.
