In accordance with Carnegie Mellon's 2011 International Film Festival theme, 'Faces of Migration,' CMU presents 'Warsaw Available'
Film Description: For Ania, Gosia, and Ilona, the thought of moving to the big city of Warsaw means accomplishing the dreams that are unavailable to them in their rural Polish village. Ania hopes to become a hairdresser; Gosia wants to escape the future prospects of her village; and Ilona wants to be able to support herself and her son. All three women are hoping to find that the big city offers the salvation they are looking for, but will the city live up to their expectations? Warsaw Available portrays the importance of finding one's own definition of home.
