The BRIC countries are both the fastest growing and largest emerging market countries in the current global sphere. This workshop will feature Tiberio Montieiro, a University of Pittsburgh Alumni, and expert on BRIC countries and economics, who will explain why it is important to know how these countries will interact with other major players such as the United States, as well as other Western powers, and how to work it into your current curriculum. Curricular materials will be provided for all teachers who attend. This workshop is being offered for 3 Act 48 continuing education credits.

Refreshments and parking will be provided for all teachers who attend.
