Come to Nordy's Place in the William Pitt Union to take part in this interesting discussion. Diane Hardy and Cynthia Yializis will present on the impact of international education and immigration. International education in the United States is not just about studying abroad and taking courses on other regions of the world. It is also about welcoming international students to our universities, who in turn enrich our educational experience with their unique background and skill sets. OIS and CILE will provide an overview of the impact international students have had here at Pitt and beyond. We will also discuss the immigration process involved for international students, the obstacles they must overcome to study here in the United States and current reform measures that will have an impact on international students and education.
