The 9 project participants from Albania, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Italy, Macedonia, the Netherlands, Slovak Republic and Spain have been invited to the US under the auspices of the Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program. The visitors are all actively involved with good governance issues through their work with NGO’s or as elected officials. The themes for the Pittsburgh segment of the program are economic redevelopment and sustainable urban development..
All the program participants speak fluent English, and will be accompanied by two English Language officers, Barbara D. Howard and Matthew C. Illinitch.
