Film Screening and Discussion
"Somewhere Between," is a documentary film about teenage girls adopted to the US from China constructing and discovering their identities. A discussion will be held following the film, led by: Linda Goldstein Knowlton, producer of award-winning Whale Rider and adoptive mother; pediatrician Sarah Springer, Medical Director of International Adoption Health Services of Western PA, a service of KidsPlus Pediatrics; member of the executive committee of the Council on Foster Care, Adoption & Kinship Care of the American Academy of Pediatrics; and adoptive mother and social worker Penny Edwards, of Catholic Charities.
