The Global Studies Center is pleased to sponsor a discussion with four visionary activists attempting to find a breakthrough in the political deadlock in Palestine-Israel. Combatants for Peace is "a non-profit, volunteer organization of ex-combatant Israelis and Palestinians, men and women, who have laid down their weapons and rejected all means of violence." This discussion provides an opportunity for critical engagement with their non-violent approach to Middle Eastern politics and their efforts to "end the occupation of Palestine, bring just peace to the land, and demonstrate that Israelis and Palestinians can work and live together."
