Human rights have been and remain controversial, despite their emergence as the dominant ethical discourse in contemporary global politics. Dr. Michael Goodhart, Associate Professor of Political Science & GSC Interim Director, will present an alternative account of human rights as political tools that addresses some of these key controversies.
