We eagerly seeking your feedback on how we can strengthen Pitt's commitment to international education and expand our global reach.

The University has recently developed the Plan for Pitt: Making a Difference Together, Academic Years 2016-2020. The University Center for International Studies (UCIS) has been tasked with engaging the Pitt community in conversations on how we might align a university-wide global plan with strategies and objectives identified in the Strategic Plan for Pitt.

Over the past few months, UCIS has relied on the expertise of faculty, staff, students, and other stakeholders across the university and our local community to gather input toward the development of a global plan for Pitt. Our goal is to develop a plan that builds upon the University's reputation as a leader in international education, while proposing concrete strategies and actions for the university-wide internationalization the move the Strategic Plan forward.

We welcome your thoughts on the following:
1. What should be the goals of Pitt's global engagement?
2. What should be a "globally ready" or "globally smart" student look like?
