This is an exciting time to be an educator. Knowledge is becoming accessible to more and more people. This includes students in the classroom. With the use of technology, students are no longer limited to a text book or video to learn. A culmination of world knowledge is literally at their fingertips.
One of the challenges in doing this is figuring out what to use and how to use it. With the internet, there seems to be an information overload at times that leaves a teacher tired and confused. This workshop is going to address how new technology can enhance your classroom pedagogy. This workshop is designed for teachers of all disciplines.

The presenter is Meiyi Song, former faculty at the Defense Language Institute, has a strong background in instructional design, language education, adult education and learning theories. Her specialties include: instructional design, instructional technology and its application, eLearning, mobile learning, and language education.
