The Indian Nationality Room Committee will once again celebrate Indian culture, heritage and independence with the annual India Day festival. This year's theme is "Unity in Diversity."
The festivities begin at 11:30 a.m. with a parade around the Cathedral of Learning's lawn. Beginning on Bigelow Boulevard, a truck will lead participants singing and dancing down the streets. After the parade, the Cathedral of Learning's Commons Room will host vendors, organizations, food tables, live music and performances. The event is free and the Indian Nationality Room Committee welcomes all to come help celebrate.
