This debut novel by Dinaw Mengestu tells the story of an Ethiopian refugee living in Washington, D.C., and explores issues of racial, cultural, and national identities. Our discussion will be led by Professor Gayle Rogers of Pitt’s English department. Books and dinner are provided, as well as parking on Pitt’s campus and Act 48 hours.
