Religion is an inseparable aspect of diversity in contemporary higher education. Religion interacts with other sociocultural gators and contributes to a teaching and learning environment that promotes understanding, civility, and tolerance. Students and faculty members, whether religious or non-religious, benefit from experiencing higher education in a more religiously-responsive manner.
In concert with the University of Pittsburgh's Year of Diversity, together we are hosting a symposium and public dialogue. This event is free and open to the public. We encourage everyone interested in learning more about this important topic to join us for this event.
