Join the Hostile Terrain 94 Pittsburgh team to learn about the consequences of U.S. immigration enforcement strategy called Prevention through Deterrence (PTD) implemented along its southern border to stifle migration flows. The event will feature panel discussion and breakout sessions during which participants will have the opportunity to join in the video collage initiative to commemorate the lives of migrants whose lives were lost as a direct result of this policy. The video clips will become part of a larger assemblage of recordings obtained internationally. Only participants willing to join the video collage will be recorded. You are not required to participate in the video collage to join this event.
