Come to a joint info session sponsored by African Studies, The Center for Russian and Eastern European Studies & Vira I. Heinz Program on Thursday, September 26 from 12:30-1:30!

Students will describe how international experiences in Eastern Europe and Africa have internationalized their education and helped them to earn credits towards UCIS certificates!
They will also share how they won scholarships to fund these international experiences!

Global Pittsburgh EU-US Roundtable

9 project participants from Albania, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Italy, Macedonia, the Netherlands, the Slovak Republic, and Spain have been invited to the US under the auspices of the Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program and will participate in a roundtable discussion discussing US-EU relations. The visitors are all actively involved with good governance issues through their work with NGO’s or as elected officials. The themes for the Pittsburgh segment of the program are economic redevelopment and sustainable urban development.
