A public screening of a film by Liisa Roberts. Between 2000 and 2004, Finnish-American artist Liisa Roberts directed a project in Vyborg, a city located in the Russian-Finnish border. First Finnish, subsequently Soviet, and currently Russian, Vyborg is home to one of the great works of modernist architect Alvar Aalto: a municipal library built in 1933, when the city was under Finnish jurisdiction, and which was heavily damaged during World War II.
