2023 High School Student International Marketing Competition
In cooperation with the University of Pittsburgh's Katz Graduate School of Business, Global Studies Center, University Center for International Studies, and GNC— along with other partners— to create and administer the events and competition. Student teams will present their marketing pitches on this year's target market and target product. High school teams work on their project throughout the year, culminating in these final presentations.
Languages Across the Curriculum Online Info Session
The University Center for International Studies (UCIS), with funding from Pitt's Title VI National Resource Centers, has embarked on a four-year initiative to increase the number of LAC courses offered on campus. Join us to learn more about LAC and how you can combine your personal world language proficiency with your non-language teaching/research expertise and provide students with exciting opportunities to enhance their learning. Any faculty, administrators, and students who are interested in LAC courses are welcome.

Global Asia: Issues, Challenges, and Opportunities
Asia has been undergoing a historic transformation that has often been referred to as the “Asian Century.” Representing 60% of the world’s population and 4 of the 10 largest economies, Asia plays a critical and ever-expanding role on the global stage. Transnational flows of people, goods, and ideas in and out of Asia have fueled much of the rapid change within the region and increased its influence abroad.
