FOR K-12 STUDENTS:

Euro Challenge
Euro Challenge is a national competition for cash prizes where 9th and 10th grade high school students test their knowledge and understanding of the European economy and the Euro, the currency shared by many of the 28 countries of the European Union

Europe Day Contest
The Europe Day Contest is a multimedia contest for students in grades K-12. Individual students or groups of two to four students can submit projects related to each year's theme.

High School Model EU
The High School Model European Union is an annual event for area high school students. The goal of the Model EU is to give high school students a chance to learn about the workings of the European Union through a hands-on simulation.

FOR UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS:

Brussels Study Tour
The ESC will provide funds to support summer study tours of Brussels Belgium for undergraduates, K-12 educators, and faculty teaching at community colleges or minority serving institutions.

European Study Center's Advanced Program in Education
Pitt undergrads enrolled in one of the ESC’s certificate programs and who are interested in becoming teachers will develop lesson plans about Europe or the E.U. under the supervision of Center staff, mentored by a student in the School of Education’s Masters of Teaching program (MAT), and supervised by a faculty member in the School of Education.
