For K-16 Students

 

ESC offers an array of programming for K-12 students including simulations, small group presentations, as well as an independent or small group multimedia production. These events and initiatives are designed to engage K-12 students in research and hands-on learning to enhance their knowledge of current events related to contemporary Europe and the European Union. 

2021-22 MEET EU Short Film Competition for U.S. Youth
A competition that asks young people to create a short film (documentary or non-documentary) responding to the theme “Transatlantic Connections.”

Euro Challenge
A national competition for cash prizes where 9th and 10th grade high school students test their knowledge and understanding of the European economy and the Euro, the currency shared by many 28 countries of the European Union

Europe Day Contest
A multimedia contest for students in grades K-12, engages students in an in-depth study of European cultures, people, history, as well as contemporary issues that are relevant to both the United States and European Union.

High School Model EU
An annual event that gives students a chance to learn about the workings of the European Union through preparation for and participation in a hands-on daylong simulation.
