Professor Leonora Anyango
Event Status:

Wed, 11/06/2024 - 15:30 to 16:30

Rwanda’s genocide is well documented as one of the worst in recent African history. Happening in 1994 in approximately 100 days, it was a dark time in the history of Rwanda, East Africa and Africa. 30 years later in 2024, what is going on in Rwanda? What are the narratives and counternarratives being passed on to future generations? What are the sociopolitical relations among the people of Rwanda? In this photographic journey, Leonora Anyango, Ph.D. will talk about her recent trip to Rwanda and her experiences as she traversed the country.
